A series of initiatives to participate in and contribute to the government scheme for business continuity within the United Arab Emirates have been announced by Ajman Bank in light of the pressures and precautions being seen by the international economy.
The moves have been carried out following directives from the Executive Council chairman and Crown Prince of Ajman, HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.
The community initiatives package announced by the bank complements initiatives already designed for clients via a number of different incentives and facilities.
These include support for the education sector by providing AED300,000 for the purchasing and distribution of laptops that are needed by distance learning systems.
The initiatives are intended to ensure the continuity and sustainability of services to everyone, including offering all customers in the UAE a three-month deferral on financing products, auto financing, real estate financing and personal finance loans.
Ajman Bank customers who have made use of personal loans, mortgages or car loans can apply to receive a repayment holiday of three months with no fees.
Customers will also be exempt from 50% of fees if they have put in applications for new financing products as well as withdrawals from ATMs or via credit cards.
The bank has also waived fees on cash withdrawals that have been made via debit cards on all ATMs from all banks throughout the UAE.
The bank will also allow credit card customers to make use of interest-free instalment plans for all e-learning devices and payment of school fees without any processing charges for up to three months.
Customers who perform cash withdrawals with their credit cards will also get a reduction of 50% in their cash advance charges.
There has also been an increase in the maximum amount of cash that can be withdrawn from ATMs.
Credit card users can take advantage of a three-month instalment plan with 0% interest in order to buy e-learning devices and pay school fees.
Ajman Bank is committed to UAE society and customers and ensuring that its complete range of services is provided with safety and confidence in these extraordinary times, says the bank’s chief executive officer Mohamed Amiri.
Ajman Bank wants to assure customers that they will still be able to deal with and communicate with the bank via digital banking solutions designed for customer convenience and to allow contact wherever they are during the day.
Ajman Bank offers a number of credit cards to its customers, including the BRight Credit Card, the ‘Power’ Credit Card and the Roadmiles Card.
The BRight Credit Card provides a tremendous rewards experience and offers cardholders many exclusive travel benefits.
The ‘Power’ Credit Card is the UAE’s most powerful multi-partner Islamic card – the card offers the best returns when ‘Power’ reward points are redeemed via the website.
A new variety of financial freedom can be enjoyed with the Roadmiles Card, which is completely Shariah-compliant and offers a simple and transparent reward programme.
