The introduction of the Emirates NBD Duo Credit Card was planned to give cardholders the benefits of two credit cards – the Mastercard Platinum Card and the Diners Club Card – in one package.
The Emirates NBD Duo Credit Card therefore offers users a variety of different privileges and rewards with the intention of providing them with the best features of both credit cards.
Among the highlights that the credit card has to offer is cash withdrawal, which goes up to 50% of the cardholder’s overall credit limit, as well as a low 1.99% fee for all international currency transfers.
The Emirates NBD Duo Credit Card comes with a number of main features.
One of those main features is contactless payments, which allow fast and secure purchases that cost below 300 dirhams to be made just by tapping the card or a smartphone, with no need for a PIN or a signature.
The Cash Withdrawal feature allows instant access to cash of up to as much as 50% of the established credit card limit by using the card with any bank branch or ATM anywhere in the world.
This transaction will result in a cash advance charge of either 3% or 99 dirhams, depending on which is highest.
Bigger purchases can also be made with this Mastercard without the need to make a lump-sum payment because of the inclusion of a simple instalment facility that enables payment to be split into smaller instalments at low interest rates for up to a year.
The Concierge Desk feature included with this credit card means that users can enjoy having time-consuming and complicated errands taken care of by the concierge team at their bank.
This facility is still free of charge on the Diners Club Card if there is a monthly average spending of at least 5,000 dirhams using both cards.
Services included with this facility include car service or car registration once per annum and two annual free airport transfers.
Diners Club Card benefits in addition to Mastercard Platinum Card benefits are both included on the Emirates NBD Duo Credit Card.
One of these benefits is rewards of up to 5% on groceries, utilities, fuel, electronics and education.
For other purchases, including travel, online, dining and hotel stays, 0.5% rewards are offered.
The presentation of the Diners Club Card allows unlimited free access to cardholders at over 900 premium airport lounges all over the world.
The Mastercard Platinum Card give users free access to all participating lounges in the Middle East, which means that the Duo card offers the best of both cards.
BOGO offers when booking CineRoyal tickets can also be enjoyed thanks to the Emirates NBD Duo Credit Card, which also provides a further 15% discount on popcorn and beverages at these United Arab Emirates cinemas.
Free golf and free valet parking are also provided by the card, with up to four free monthly parking facilities at various well-known malls and one free monthly golf game at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Links. Other benefits include Purchase Protection and roadside assistance.
